Having worked in education since 2007, I am passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential. My career began as a Secondary PE teacher after completing my studies in Australia, and I later qualified as a SENCO, developing extensive experience in supporting children and young people with additional needs. I also served as a parent governor at a primary school, which provided valuable insight into school leadership and governance.
I currently work as an Education Adviser, drawing on my experience across teaching, inclusion, and school improvement to support positive outcomes for children and families. As a parent of two children, one in primary school and one in secondary school, I understand first hand both the opportunities and challenges families experience throughout their educational journey. This combination of professional and personal experience gives me a well-rounded perspective and a strong commitment to ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
