State and Compliance Manager
As the trusts Estates and Compliance Manager and Data Protection Officer I support schools in being safe, compliant, and through audit and inspection that they adhere to relevant legislation. I work closely with premises teams, supporting and advising them on all elements of estates management. I advise on the appointment of contractors and ensure necessary documentation is in place.
Working with schools I support with policies and risk assessments, upskilling key colleagues working in high risk areas and advising school leaders on areas of responsibility and risk. I coordinate statutory training needs and facilitate trust wide courses and development.
Drawing on my extensive background in health and safety management my primary objective is to ensure that senior leaders and teaching staff can focus on supporting our students to allow them to learn and thrive, knowing that they are supported by my role in the trust.
